Joseph P. Wirthlin addresses and correspondence, 1941-1963.

The collection consists of formal addresses given as a "General Authority" of the Mormon Church. They are in the form of notes for speeches, fully written talks, and published addresses. They are preserved in suchforms as typed papers, photoduplicated newspaper articles, and excerpts from the Mormon Church magazine "The Improvement Era". These talks were given at the semi-annual conferences of the Mormon Church and in other official capacities. Also included in the collection is some miscellaneous correspondence. Often these letters were both to and from other prominent Mormon Church leaders.
